Collection of reminiscences by colleagues of the ASDA store in Dewsbury

ASDA funded the WYAS to develop a project working with communities in Beeston and Dewsbury, looking at identity, belonging and migration. It was also decided that it would be a good opportunity to work with an ASDA store and its collegues. The Dewsbury Store was identifed as the store we would working in. The following is taken from interviews and stories that were shared as part of the project.

This archvie is now closed but if you have a story to add about Dewsbury, please go to the contribute page and add it to the places section of the website.
