Trails are now available to download!

Created as part of WYAS' current project, Tracks in Time, 'Tithe to 2009' Trails demonstrate how local built and ecological environments have changed since the Victorian tithe maps of the Leeds area were drawn. The trails contrast 19th-century surroundings with today’s communities, and reveal the decades in between through local people's memories.

Walking a 'Tithe to 2009' Trail is an excellent way to discover local heritage you might have missed, or get to know a new place better. So, if you can't make it to one of the guided trail events Tracks in Time will be hosting in October, why not download a trail near you, or try exploring a community in the Leeds area you've never visited before? There's a trail to suit everyone, whether you require wheelchair/buggy access, a longer or shorter walk, or you'd prefer to be on horseback! You can download 'Tithe to 2009' Trails and find out more about the Tracks in Time project and related events at
